KESSLER FREDZIA
Born Warsaw, Poland in 1922 and arrived in Mexico in 1929, done it and his family became naturalized Mexicans and settled in Monterrey, NL In 1939 he graduated from high school in law and went to the Academy of Art Tyler (Philadelphia, USA) where he studied drawing, painting and sculpture until 1941. From 1941 to 1942 continued his studies at the Art Students League of New York. Due to the outbreak of the war his father made him return to Mexico.
He continued his studies at the Institute of Painting in San Miguel Allende, Guanajuato, with maestro James Pinto and sculpture with master Ibarra. He also studied at the Academy's teachers La Esmeralda Moreno and Nicholas Feliciano Peña.
During 10 years working in the workshop of English teacher Robin Bond, under whose direction pastel work, wash, lithography and oil.
Kessler dominated the teacher several techniques, although most of his work is in oil.
